Juice of 2 limes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled

½ teaspoon salt

Freshly ground pepper to taste


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the lime juice and olive oil. Toss the shrimp with the lime-oil mixture, and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Marinate shrimp at room temperature for 10-20 minutes.
  3. Prepare grill. Grill shrimp for about 4 minutes per side, or until just cooked through.
