Founded by two nutrition experts, CooksAid is a recipe and menu planning service that helps people fit healthful homecooking into their busy lifestyles. Our services include:

- Nutrition information for recipes, including fat, calories, fiber, and diabetic exchanges
- Side suggestions
- A downloadable weekly dinner menu, complete with a categorized grocery list
- New recipes every week
- Seasonal recipes and tips
- Reliable articles on current nutrition and health topics
- And of course, this RecipeMamas blog, where we will write about everything from recipes we are developing, to our daily food encounters, and to what is inspiring us at the moment
Our Team

Maria Westberg Adams is a registered dietitian with Master’s degrees in nutrition communications and public health. Her experience includes working as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting, consulting in the public health sector, as well as writing and editing health and nutrition related consumer articles.
Maria received her Master’s in Nutrition Communication from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and her Master of Public Health degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Connecticut.
Born in Sweden, Maria moved to the US with her family as a child. Maria attributes her passion for food, nutrition, and cooking to her mother, who still cooks up nutritious, gourmet Swedish meals on a daily basis. Maria describes her own cooking style as a mixture of Mediterranean and Scandinavian, but she is always trying out new cuisines and cooking techniques.

Krisha McCoy received a Master's degree in Nutrition Communication from Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin.
Krisha has worked as a nutrition researcher, and is an accomplished health and medical writer, with her work appearing in a variety of print and online publicaitons, including the Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter, HealthDay News, and Livestrong.com.
Krisha has a passion for cooking meals for her family that are as delicious as they are nutritious. She enjoys developing innovative, nutritious recipes that are easy to prepare.
